Welcome to NMR 2020, the 18th edition of the International Workshop on Non-Monotonic Reasoning, which will take place in Rhodes, Greece.

Check out the NMR Virtual Program, there is also important information to participate in the sessions

Proceedings are available here!

Update [27-08-20]: Due to the latest developments in Greece with the COVID-19 pandemic, the hybrid format (physical and virtual participation) has been cancelled. Instead, DL2020 and KR2020 will take place only virtually. More details on this will be posted soon.

The NMR Workshops

NMR is the premier forum for results in the area of Non-Monotonic Reasoning. Its aim is to bring together active researchers in this broad field within knowledge representation and reasoning (KR), including belief revision, uncertain reasoning, reasoning about actions, planning, logic programming, preferences, argumentation, causality, and many other related topics including systems and applications. See NMR webpage.

NMR has a long history — it started in 1984, and is held every two years. Recent previous NMR workshops were held in Tempe (2018) Cape Town (2016) Vienna (2014) Rome (2012), Toronto (2010), Sydney (2008), and Lake District (UK) (2006).

The NMR workshop series is the premier specialized forum for researchers in non-monotonic reasoning and related areas. This will be the 18th workshop in these series. Its aim is to bring together active researchers in the broad area of non-monotonic reasoning, including belief revision, reasoning about actions, argumentation, declarative programming, preferences, non-monotonic reasoning for ontologies, uncertainty, and other related topics.

NMR 2020 is co-located with KR 2020 and DL 2020, in particular, NMR 2020 will share a joint session with DL 2020.
